As someone in IT, I can say that these analyst techniques are great ways to get more wrk done. It helps to have meetings, data and hpux solutions to be ready to succeed everyday. Great job on this expansive list.

Thanks Laura, bridging-the-gap has been my stop for all the knowledge and resources for a long time now, this has actually helped me progress in my career. This is yet another crucial Business Analyst must know article. I’d like to add a few more techniques to the list Protocol Analysis, Ethnographic Studies, Focus Groups are the ones I could think of. I would also add the User Story Map to the list. I am using it in my elicitation workshops and it has proved really useful, especially for new developments and MVPs.
